At the Carolina Honey Exchange, we make it easy for hobbyist and small scale bee keepers to share their hard work with the community — without the stress of marketing and sales. We purchase your honey directly, handle all bottling, labeling, and marketing, and proudly give you credit for your role in producing it.

If you prefer, we can even manage the extraction process for you (see our Extraction Services page for details). All honey is sold under the Carolina HoneyExchange brand, with each bottle featuring a batch number and a unique QR code. Customers can scan the code to learn exactly which beekeeper produced the honey and where it originated.

Program Requirements

To join this program, we will schedule an on-site apiary inspection. Participants must
also follow the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association (NCSBA) Certified Honey Producer Program guidelines regarding:

• Feeding Practices
• Mite and Small Hive Beetle Treatments
• Heating and Filtering Methods (Unless Using our Extraction Services)

In addition, we will require a short bio and photos to share on our website and social media platforms.
